Magsisimula ang 45th season ng PBA sa labanang San Miguel Beermen kontra Magnolia Hotshots sa ganap na ika-7:30 ng gabi. Ang 2020 PBA Philippine Cup debut game ay magaganap sa Smart-Araneta Coliseum.


San Miguel will be playing without the injured 6-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo. SMB is also the current and defending 5-peat champion of the Philippine Cup. And they will be tested immediately by their sister team Magnolia Hotshots.

Without Fajardo, Beermen will rely most of its inside presence through Mo Tautuaa. Terrence Romeo is also expected to play for the game after recovering from an injury also. On the other hand, the Hotshots will rely on their veteran core.
